Please don’t assume that I spend my days with my thoughts crowding the future, thinking only of what is to come. This summer I am learning to be more present. It would be so easy to focus only on what is come and and be totally oblivious to the now.
The now is looking pretty sweet from where I sit. It’s 6:30 am, Robert and our friend Kirk are off to Cranbrook to pick up our 2nd VW van ( for parts), I have a a full day alone before me. The Globe and Mail sits unfolded ready to be explored and the coffee in my cup is fresh, hot and aromatic.
How could I not savor this?
