Throwing it to the wind and a recipe

FullSizeRenderHere I am 1 day away from our next open yard/pottery event. I’m sitting on the bed, laptop and a mug of tea, trying to find the words to say to encourage you to stop by on Saturday.

I suck at this. I’ve bought books on internet marketing, took the courses, read the articles on which social media site give you the best bang for your buck, still it’s the hardest part of this work.

So the heck with it. I’m throwing all that to the wind. This will be my un-marketing message to you. This is just what we do.

I love what I do. I make things from clay, in my studio which is in my garden. I keep bees which is in my garden by my studio. I garden, the beauty of it surrounds our home.

We want to invite you to join us and our maker friends at our  Urban farm/pottery studio/home.

The things we like to do on the open yard days is share this abundance with you.

We make pizza with ingredients from the garden, make you tea, create spaces to sit and visit or quietly enjoy the garden. We talk about, bees, gardening, fermenting and art.

There is a space for you to create. This month you can make yourself a clay bowl.  No cost just come create.

If you need some pottery it’s here also.

Please bring your friends, enemies are ok also. ( There’s room to keep you separated)

There will be a garden tour on Saturday at 12:30 pm, including a bee talk shortly after.

Tell your friends, you are more powerful at moving the message than any social media site!

Saturday, July 9th 12:00 till 4:30 pm. at Sage HQ, 320-1st ave N.W. Black Diamond.

Now for a recipe.
